Mrs Lisa Stanhope from Thames Valley Police won here weekend with the ultimate driving machine by taking part in a raffle supporting Cancer Research at the Thames Valley Police bravery awards.

Wow what a special weekend!

The car was everything I’ve ever thought it would be and it is very difficult to climb out of it for the last time and give back something so beautiful.

Pretty much everything about that car is awesome. I love the fact that it has the in screen mirroring for speed and satnav. That for me is a really good feature especially when you only need to touch the Excelerator and you exceed the speed limit anyway.

An interesting aspect/observation for me was that the car brings out the very best in people looking and admiring it but also the very worst in people driving near to you who seem to want to race you at any opportunity. I had a couple of moments in Milton Keynes where young people seem to think that driving very close and revving their engines was a queue for lights out and race race race. Luckily I am not that way inclined and just smile and wave.

It is an absolute head turner and no mistake. We went from Newport pagnell to Stamford in Lincolnshire then on to Boston back down to North Cambridgeshire and then along the north Norfolk coast. If you like real I am and you ever need to go to a really good pub for just a drink or something to eat try the Jolly sailors at Brancaster.

It was awesome. Once again Russell thank you so much for all the communication which made this so much easier and also in addition thank you for supporting the police bravery awards. I retire next December and have had a few moments in my career including being stabbed in 1991 back in the day before they had awards for such things LOL.

Kind regards and many many thanks Lisa Stanhope.
